Wondering if you qualify to become an au pair? Let's check, right now. You need to be between 18 and 26 years old when your program starts. You need to speak English well - you'll use it every day with your host family. You must have graduated from secondary school, live outside the United States, and not be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. You'll need a clean criminal background, good physical and mental health, and the commitment to stay for at least one year. And here's the big one: GreatAuPair requires at least 600 documented hours of childcare experience - that's triple the Department of State minimum, because our host families expect the best. A valid passport is required. A driver's license is not required, but many families need a driver, so having one opens up many more matches. If that sounds like you - you're ready to start! And remember - Ava is available to answer and support you 24/7. Just click the chat bubble to connect.
